Beautiful day in the neighborhood!

It's sunny and 44 F which is actually perfect for walking.  When I walk I don't perspire but I get warm when you walk at a brisk pace which I try to do.  This morning when I woke up it was snowing! It was 34 F so it didn't even make it to the ground before melting.  I worked in the hallway and got everything out of the hallway except the humidifier.  There were boxes and containers of stuff in the hallway before.  One container went to the basement and the others I went through and they were either disposed of or put in their proper place.  "A place for everything and everything in its place!"  That's my goal anyway.
I dusted more of the walls here and vacuumed the carpeting and used the crevice tool next to the wall.  I dusted the baseboards and the humidifier and lamp.  Tomorrow I will move humidifier and finish the rest of the hallway.  One thing I forgot to do during this "cleaning extravaganza" was to dust and polish the doors.  I just noticed it when the sun hit one of them and I could see the dust clinging to it!  So, I got one door done and will do 1 per day.  The walls in this hallway need painting and the carpeting needs shampooing but that will have to wait.
I did some cross stitch, read some blog posts from Down To Earth and started the decreases on the 2nd mitten.  Now, I'm off to cook up some greens and onions.  I discovered that you can not only spin greens dry in your salad spinner but you can use it to wash your greens too so that is what I am doing!
Here are your "tidbits" for today................
I am going to buy one of these to wear around the house.  My house, on the north side where I do most of my work, is very dark.  I even put skylights in but still, I need lights on.  I was watching Simple Living in Alaska and they use these all the time inside and outside.   They recharge the batteries and it cuts way down on their electric usage which is solar.  I am constantly turning lights on and off as I go from room to room.   I have to turn on the hall light just to see inside the linen closet.  So, I will give it a try.  They have various strengths and prices but this one was highly rated and didn't cost too much.   Maybe I can cut down on my electric bill...I'm going to try!
and here's a little humor for today..............
Happy Trails!!!

    2. I have been married to my wife for 6 years and recently she broke up with me and it hurt me deeply when she told me to leave her alone and that she doesn't love me anymore when i was always faithful and honest to her. I tried all the ways to get her back buying her what she wants like I always did and she still left me heart broken and she even has a new boyfriend which destroyed me even more until a friend of mine from high school directed me to Dr Emu. This man changed my life completely. I followed everything he told me to do and my wife came back. I was stunned everything happened exactly like he told me. I had faith in everything he told me and everything was true. You can contact him via email: Emutemple@gmail.com He will help you in anything you need and quick to answer once you contact him through his whats-app number: +2347012841542

  2. I know some people who use headlamps to work on cars and tractors. Keeps your hands free when you need a flashlight. Can't wait to hear how it works out.

    1. I like the fact that it points the light at whatever you're looking at. I wish I would have had them on my farm. I used to have to carry a lantern at night and then find a place to hang it so I could see what I was doing.

  4. Our son-in-law has a headlamp that he used all of the time while doing projects around the house. Your hallway looks great. I'm impressed by how much you are getting done every day. I've been enjoying a walk every day this week too since it's been so sunny. Today I walked so much around the stores that I counted that as my walk because I had cleaning to do and of course, I had to get an hour or two of knitting in too. :-)
I could use some of that help too. I wish it was free for seniors. ha!
    Blessings,
    Betsy

    1. That's a great idea! Those candidates running for offices would get a lot of votes if they added that benefit! LOL! Glad you have some sunshine! They were talking on the news about a service in Spokane that helps the homeless and those in need with everything! Dental, food, vet care, medical....it was wonderful and all in one place for them. I wish I could remember the name of it. Every town should have that although I know it costs but together we could do it!

    2. I'm not sure what organization that is. I'll have to see if I can find out more. There is a group called Blessings under the Bridge that does a LOT for the homeless, but I don't think it includes medical.

  5. I have a headlamp and use it for when I crochet with dark yarn. Our house is dark in winter too. WE also use it to take the dog out in the dark. Works great.

  6. The title of your post makes me want to tell you, we finally watched A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (with Tom Hanks) last night. It was the slowest movie with the greatest payoff I think I've ever watched. The "payoff" may not be equally felt by everyone, but I truly did enjoy it. You're having another productive week! Go you!

    1. Where did you see it? I've wanted to watch it. My kids grew up with Mr. Roger's Neighborhood and I sing that song (or what I remember of it) in the morning when I am opening up the curtains. LOL! He and his wife were wonderful people and he left a big positive mark on this world. I has to push myself today but I got the hallway done!

  9. I was a HIV-AIDS patient and I got it from cheating on my wife. It was sort of a payback but a week later I was told by a friend that the person who I cheated with had the HIV-AIDS virus and did not tell me. I was so stupid by not using a condom I thought since he was an old school friend he was trustworthy. But I was wrong. I cried and cried. Two days later, I got a phone call from my friend and he told me about a person who is known by another friend, who can help me. I could not let my wife know what I was going through. I finally got his email address: oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com and I emailed this man my story and he replied me immediately saying i should be calm and told me that everything will be OK. I could not come to terms with what I was hearing but then I concluded it did not matter because I was so broken I just needed help. I was going out of my mind literally. I was confused with what he was telling me, but I listened. He told me about some materials i need to buy that he needed to cast the spell and I said OK. I bought the materials to him, I sent down my picture to him and my positive result sheet and he replied me that i am going to be negative under 3days. I message Him every 2hours for 2day and I knew he thought that I was crazy but I did care I needed a shoulder. Behold, the third day he messaged me i should go for a test that i will be negative. My marriage could be broken because of a stupid mistake and my life was on the line. I remembered when I was going to get the results of my re-test I called him up again and told him that I was going to get my results today and his reply was “so" and that everything will be as he explained. I knew then that he was getting tired of me calling him, maybe I was wrong. Well I got my results and the first person I called was him - again. As he said hello I started to cry and cry. I could not believe it. I was given a second chance in life. This man is a great spiritual HIV/AIDS healer, his healing spell on aids healing is very powerful .please brothers and sister, contact Dr Ose oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com
