Hallway done!!!

It took me a week but it is done and cleared out and cleaned except for shampooing carpet and painting walls. Do you see the yellow wall down at the end?  I did start painting several years ago and either I had visitors or a relapse of RA but for some reason I stopped and didn't get back to it.
Those doors lead to the other 2 bedrooms which are my crafts room and the guest room.
This is a crewel embroidery picture I did about 40 years ago!
This sign is for the grands when they come to "Camp Grandma"....I just leave it up as they are the only guests I ever have.
This is a Mary Englebreit poster that I love.....words of wisdom!
Here' s a better picture of the painted part of the hallway............
I took my walk and when I returned there were "treasures" in the mail!  A sweet Valentine's Day card from Uriah........
and my natural dyeing book came from Thrift Books!  Yippee!!!  I'll be reading this one A.S.A.P.!
I did order my headlamp today and a few other groceries from Wally World to qualify for free shipping.  I'm thinking maybe I should order some yarn for dyeing too?!?  I won't be blogging on Saturday's as I am taking an official day off with no commitments of any kind.  Plus, it's a craft day and I usually like to save my craft progress for Year of Projects post on Sunday.
Here are your  "tidbits" for today...........
Just sharing my little Valentine flowers with you.  If anyone knows what they are please tell me so I can take care of them properly.
aren't these the sweetest curtains? Here's the link
I'm finding so many lovely crochet patterns lately...like this one!  I love the colors or at least the way they go from dark to light  Here's the link
It's a free pattern on Ravelry
and for the truth of the matter.............
Happy Trails!!!

  1. Congrats on completing the hallway. Your little plant is miniature Rose's. I love them and have had several but none of them live here. It is too dry and hot outside and my indoors does not have good window with enough sunlight. Look them up on google and they say how to take care of them.

  2. Yep, my marbles are leaking out, one by one. :-)
The hall looks great and you've worked hard all week. You deserve to take Saturday's off but I'm glad you told us because I would have wondered where you were tomorrow. I have a cross-stitch I made for my Mom before she died. I think it was about 45 years ago. It's one of my favorites because I made it for her although I have stitched much more intricate projects since then.
Have a wonderful Saturday Sam and have fun crafting.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

    1. The best laid plans. I did some cross stitch but did some baking that needed done and chores....I have got to stop that and just craft!

  3. This cleaning project is amazing. I am in awe of you. I need to get myself in gear and attempt the same thing. I watched the videos you recommended with Cambrea.

    1. Oh, she will put all of us to shame by what she gets done in 1 day! But I figure even if I take longer I will make progress if I keep at it and lo and behold I have! It's such a great feeling! This coming week (and probably several more as it is hard to walk into the room) will be the craft room! It should be fun to find treasures I've forgotten about! I'm looking forward to it but when I look in there I wonder where I will start?!?! LOL!

  6. Oh, it must feel so good to clear and clean. I've stalled temporarily, but it's only because my get up and go got up and went. Hubs has been gone alot helping his mother out and you'd think I'd be motivated to get so much done. Just the opposite seems to be the case. I'm enjoying your progress, though. I love seeing your crewel work, and I imagine the Welcome and Camp Grandma signs make you smile. The Mary Englebreit poster is cute and clever.

    1. Don't be hard on yourself. If I didn't want to move, sell the house and I wasn't this old I would postpone if I could but time is of the essence at my age.

  7. I think your little plant is a 'Kalanchoe' which is part of the 'succulent' family. I believe you can grow them outside too if your winters are not too harsh but mostly, a sunny windowsill is best and after the flowers die back, you can encourage further growth by deadheading and repotting (at least that's how I keep mine going!). The shoots often become a tad 'leggy' so I just prune those parts off, to encourage new growth from the bottom of the plant. Great job on your hallway. I would come visit if I lived closer!!!Good weekend to you and I love your idea of a 'no-commitment' day!

  12. My name is hoover, my 18 years old daughter, Tricia was diagnosed of herpes 3 years ago. ever since then,we have been going from one hospital to the other. We tried all sorts of pills but all efforts to get rid of the virus was futile. The blisters kept on reappearing after some months. My daughter was making use of Acyclovir tablets 200mg. 2 tablets every 6hours and fusitin cream 15grams. and H5 POT. Permanganate with water to be applied 2x a day but all still show no result. So I was on the internet some months back, to sought for any other means of saving my only child. just then, i came across a comment on dr imoloa herbal treatment and decided to give it a try. i contacted the him and he prepared some herbs and sent it to me together with guidelines on how to use the herbs through DHL courier service. my daughter used it as directed dr imoloa and in less than 14days, my daughter regained her health..
