I've been going since early this morning and I don't feel like I have much to show for it but regardless I know I put in a full day. I went to work on the hallway first thing this morning and made a pretty big dent and emptied another box that was sitting there. I put some books on the bookcase............Some I need to read and the bottom shelf is to sell or donate and the middle shelf is I'm not sure! LOL!
I dusted the walls and baseboard on the other side of the hallway and took pictures of paintings that I painted several years back when I took a Bob Ross painting class..........
I took my walk, cleaned Miss Peeps litter box and my tub. I'm baking off the rest of the cookie dough and I took my broken down old Keurig to recycling. I've worked a bit on the mittens and read the crochet mystery which is good! I'm ready to call it a day! How was your day?

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the class but it really didn't inspire me to do anymore. If you took a Bob Ross class you could paint them also. It's more method than talent.

DeleteI used to watch Bob Ross, and think I saw an episode which is very similar to the 4th painting down. Seems like you really learnt a lot on the course and produced some lovely paintings. Is it something you’ll do again?
ReplyDeleteProbably not. The class was fun but I have no desire to paint here at home. It was something I took advantage of here in town and then when it was done I have no more interest. I know the teacher encouraged me to continue but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
DeleteThat last tidbit is me and I definitely would need a spotter for those exercises. I love your paintings. I see "happy little bushes!" That is one of my favorite things Bob Ross used to say. I used to watch him on PBS all of the time. I can't paint at all but gosh, you sure can! Your paintings are works of art my friend.

Thank you, Betsy. I'm glad I did it when I did but it seems I got it out of my system and have no desire to do it again. You could do it if you took a class and had a good instructor like I did.
