Foggy, rainy and dark today!

A good day to stay in and lounge around or try and get some work done around here!  I spent a good deal of time on Instagram this morning mainly looking at posts from lauramattox89.  If you like quilts, especially little ones, you will love her IG posts!  She has darling quilts, accessories, and decorating inspiration.  I always get inspired after viewing her IG account.
Speaking of,  I posted my first photo on IG!!!  I used my camera on my tablet and it was easy peasy!  IG is actually much easier to post to and stay up to date with others and it doesn't take nearly the time that blogging does but I do like my blog and my friend's blogs so I'll probably end up doing both.  I have people following me on IG and I never post! LOL!  So, now I have posted and
we'll see if I get any feedback.
Remember this blanket?  Well, it's been frogged but it has also been restarted.  one of the sides was increasing and this has happened before to me.  I evidently get messed up when I turn the corners.  So, I have made it wider....121 chains to start to make the blanket 32" by 32"....hopefully.
I have the first row done and please wish me luck!  Speaking of luck, here are some recipes designed to bring you some............I always forget to make them but maybe this year I won't!
 Here's the link

I am already thinking of gifts to make for this coming year!  I have all those birthdays in July and one the end of January too.  I saw this and thought it would be great for the grands for "hauling all their cash".  Here are the directions and tutorial

and to end on a funny note...........there's this.............I should have seen it coming but I didn't..........

That's all for today!
 Happy Trails!!!

  1. I can't find you on Instagram! The button does not work for me. What is your instagram "name"? I love the photos on instagram, but I like reading blogs even more.

  2. Your little cartoon gave me a laugh. It was so bad, it was almost good. I, too, should have seen it coming. But didn't. :o] Ah yes, it's the little things in life . . .

  3. I saw your IG post today and was very happy to see you there. I do not use it as often as others do but still enjoy it. Doesn't take as much time keeping up with folks as reading blogs or FB. Like you, I still love my blog and my blogging buddies and refuse to give that up.

  5. I also post some on IG, but kind of come and go. It is fast and easy. So many bloggers have switched over because of that. I'll see if I can find you!

  6. Second time is the charm for your baby blanket! All of us have to rip out. I did it three times with that toddler sweater in the past few days, but I finished it this afternoon! Hallelujah!
I have an instagram account but I forget to check it. I seriously go weeks without even looking at it. I much prefer blogs as it seems a lot more personal for some reason. I sure hope you do keep on blogging my friend.
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy

  7. I agree, I love instagram as it is quick and easy. Full of inspiration as well. I do love my blog though for different reasons, and like to do a bit of both!

    1. That would probably sell well in your craft shows. Boys can be hard to buy for and it would be a great gift for girls too.

  11. I was a HIV-AIDS patient and I got it from cheating on my wife. It was sort of a payback but a week later I was told by a friend that the person who I cheated with had the HIV-AIDS virus and did not tell me. I was so stupid by not using a condom I thought since he was an old school friend he was trustworthy. But I was wrong. I cried and cried. Two days later, I got a phone call from my friend and he told me about a person who is known by another friend, who can help me. I could not let my wife know what I was going through. I finally got his email address: oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com and I emailed this man my story and he replied me immediately saying i should be calm and told me that everything will be OK. I could not come to terms with what I was hearing but then I concluded it did not matter because I was so broken I just needed help. I was going out of my mind literally. I was confused with what he was telling me, but I listened. He told me about some materials i need to buy that he needed to cast the spell and I said OK. I bought the materials to him, I sent down my picture to him and my positive result sheet and he replied me that i am going to be negative under 3days. I message Him every 2hours for 2day and I knew he thought that I was crazy but I did care I needed a shoulder. Behold, the third day he messaged me i should go for a test that i will be negative. My marriage could be broken because of a stupid mistake and my life was on the line. I remembered when I was going to get the results of my re-test I called him up again and told him that I was going to get my results today and his reply was “so" and that everything will be as he explained. I knew then that he was getting tired of me calling him, maybe I was wrong. Well I got my results and the first person I called was him - again. As he said hello I started to cry and cry. I could not believe it. I was given a second chance in life. This man is a great spiritual HIV/AIDS healer, his healing spell on aids healing is very powerful .please brothers and sister, contact Dr Ose oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com
