Friday night lights.......

Not a very productive day but I did manage to vacuum and wash my bathroom floor....on my hands and knees too!  It needed a thorough cleaning.  Other than that not much else was done.  I was a slug and the day went by so fast!
I did manage a few scrubbies on my breaks.........I'm using up the 'scrubbie' yarn I have and stockpiling little gifts to have on hand.  I'm already thinking about all the birthdays this coming summer and my son's birthday the 18th of this month and SIL on the 23rd although I have his done.
I must admit I did some window shopping online but no Christmas sales on the things I want....
I did buy one item though.  It was something I have been looking at for awhile but it was on Amazon for $40 not counting tax but then I have this app...Wikibuy and it searches for a better price and it came up with one on Ebay for $25 including shipping and tax.....total!  I was ecstatic!  I bought it too!  That was $15 less than Amazon!  Now that I've saved so much money I can keep shopping! LOL!  I highly recommend the Wikibuy app and you don't have to log on to it either....it takes you right to the place where the cheaper price is.
Enjoy your Friday evening!
Happy Trails!!!

  1. Thx for the app info. It will come in handy. I see you are already planning for future gifts. What a smart move. Might need to copy you on that idea too. See? You are an inspiration!

  2. You are so good about planning ahead. I’ve made up a couple of scrubby’s this month for my gift basket too. It’s getting mighty low and I need to get busy making things for it.
It was a very sad day at our house. I had to take Amelia to the vet and they put her to sleep. Mandy is devastated and I’m not doing very well either. These fur babies. They sure worm on their way into our hearts don’t they?

    1. Oh, Betsy, I'm so sorry! Every morning I get up I wonder what I might find although the girls are doing well actually. Eating, drinking, taking their meds and they're still ambulatory and eliminating. I count my blessings for sure. I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain and the void that exists when we lose someone we love. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

    2. What a sweet thing to say. She had lost well over 3 pounds in three months and was down to just 6 pounds something. She was such a tiny little thing. I know there wasn’t anything else I could do, but I still feel that bad about it. At least I stayed with her to the end, and I think that gave Mandy some comfort too. Blessings, Betsy

  3. That's a good tip to find the best prices. I like Amazon but it's good to shop around. Love those scrubbies! Enjoy your weekend!

  4. I have never shopped online. I know that sounds strange to most people these days but I've just never felt the need to. I have so much stuff I've crocheted that is just sitting. I really need to find someone, anyone, to give it away to. :) As Betsy said, you are always good at planning ahead. I really need to be better at that. Have a good day.
