Beautiful winter..........in my dreams..........

I did it! There are now "3 bags full"! No more heels, only 1 purse and I think there is some more that might go next round but I'm very satisfied with all I got rid of.
On the left on top, those containers contain shoes and one container contains weights for lifting and some stretching straps. I keep my ironing board, iron and sprays in the closet because I iron in my bedroom....where the t.v. is! LOL! I have an emergency lantern and the next container has my one the only purse left. I really don't use them anymore. I have to keep my Asics on the shelf because Miss Peeps chews the laces. The far-right container has shoe polishes in it and saddle soap for my saddles (yes, I still have my saddles in the basement).
My Birkenstocks are my bedroom slippers....I keep the screens in the closet after I take them off in the Fall and wash them.
Look at all that room! Do you think I could become a minimalist? No way! LOL!
There's always laundry to do...........
But the closet is done except maybe for a good vacuum which I will do Monday when I start on my bedroom! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the bedroom done in 1 week but I will try!

Actually, we're promised upper 30's and love 40's for next week and although there may be some precipitation, it should be in the form of rain. (I hope) Maybe some of the frigid white will go away.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO impressed with that beautiful closet. I wish I had your willpower. I have way too much in my closet. Dennis has gotten rid of most everything except about 10 shirts and 5-6 dress pants for work and 3 pair of jeans. He's definitely the "less is more" type.

I am not a clothes horse but then when it comes to my crafts room there's going to be a lot of "hemming and hawing"!
DeleteI dust only when completely necessary. I don't have any space around here that is not filled with stuff. Not sure what I would do with any amount of empty or white space. All my craft supplies require the most organization. I keep looking around trying to figure out how I want to arrange it all. So far no action though. :)

You did great! Hope you keep moving along! I am stalled at the moment...didn't get much sorted today. My closet needs a good go through but now I am concentrating on upstairs! 900 square feet we hardly ever use except for company that has become a dumping ground for stuff I should have gotten rid of. :)

DeleteAwesone! I haven't gotten my husband to purge his clothing, and he needs to badly. We buy a new t-shirt every time we visit a new Harley store and his shirts are exploding in the closet.
