Not much to show you today. I cleaned the frig, froze the remaining Italian beef, cleaned up the house and took a walk. I took more Christmas items down to the basement and that's about it. Where did the day go? I did get up later than normal but really?
I'm behind on XS too so I worked on Monthly Monday and it's Friday!
We had freezing rain this morning and it's been dark all day and now more rain is coming. Just so we don't lose power!
This kind of weather puts me in hibernation mode.

I had to run a couple of errands today. The post office and the bank. I figured as long as I was out I would pick up a few groceries. My goodness the roads were bad. Yesterdays snow must have been extra slick. I was barely moving, and I mean under 5 mph and I still slid through a stop sign. I said, "that's it, I'm going home." And I did. I've been happily enscounced in my chair knitting and reading while laundry whirred away in the washer and dryer. I'm staying home the rest of the day.

DeleteI no longer feel like I have to be in go mode all the time. Hibernating is a good thing. Windy and very gray here today. So I'm definitely chilling. Your January cross-stitch is coming along nicely. I need to start a new project but just can't decide at the moment what I really want to do. My husband needs that honey concoction since he's coughing again and thus snoring at night. :/
ReplyDeleteT hey have those snoring things now but if he's coughing it might make him choke. My mother used to fix hot lemonade with honey. Coughing is terrible for all involved! LOL! Sleeping on 2 pillows might help too.
DeleteWe are all in hibernation mode today for sure. We are in the middle of a winter storm in our parts. Roads are terrible. Good thing we cut wood yesterday. Enjoy the hibernation mode. Spring will be here before we know it.

Going through divorce with the partner you love is like been in hell, my husband filed for a divorce without giving me reasons.
