I didn't seem to get much done today but maybe it was because it was stuff you couldn't see....like pay bills, make some phone calls, go for a walk and try and burn brush that refused to cooperate. I did pick up a lot of sticks in the yard. I worked on the closet and got a bit more done.......other than a few coats this is all that's left...........
More in the bag and some things that are ironed so I'll leave them on hangers...........If I would buy some new clothes I would probably get rid of some more....I really don't like clothes shopping........
Since you asked..........here is the Scrapghan I started. It is a CAL by Hooked on Homemade Happiness I know, I know! I have more than enough projects going but like I said yesterday....it's a sickness....I'll be calling the doctor if I don't recover soon. This is definitely a good way to get rid of stash and I must admit that participating in these CALs I have learned things I've never even heard of in crochet before. She issues new directions each week so I'm going to try and stay current. Plus, I do well with rows and they go well with watching t.v. too.

I am thinking you may have to go clothes shopping! Last summer, I cleaned my closet but, when I finished it didn't look quite so naked as yours! :~) I just can't part with my old clothes, some of which are thirty years old that my mom made for me. And, I still wear them!

DeleteThe CAL looks interesting and now that I've finished the sweaters I would like a new crochet blanket project. There is another one that Terri at the Yarnjoy Utube channel is going to start. It will be using rectangular granny squares. I am planning to do that one with her. Even though I use lots of scraps up in the mittens, it seems they pile never dwindles down much.
ReplyDeleteDennis shoveled again this moring before he went to work. The news said we have twice our average January snowfall already! I guess I wasn't imagining things when I thought we had a lot! :-) . More is predicted today, tomorrow and then "heavy" snow for Saturday. Glad I can stay home today. The mail carrier even stopped our delivery for our area. We have to go to the post office to get our mail until the snow is gone! That's never happened before.
Oh, well. It is what it is as our SIL says. I'm going to either make or get some naan to make Far Side's pizza. It sounds delicious. Tonight we're having chicken and homemade egg noodles. One of our favorites on a cold winter day.
