Not a very exciting post as I almost totally forgot to post! I was so busy going through things that I literally got lost in the process.......I cleaned off my desk today which if you knew me....that can be a major activity at times............the fact that I have been going through things for the last several months has made a real difference, I must say........things, rooms, etc are becoming easier to maintain......Hallelujah!
the rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning out my entire file system.....it needed it! I have a garbage full of paper to prove it and also a bucket of papers to burn...way too much to shred....I would be at it forever...........
Not a fun job but when it's done there's a great sense of satisfaction.
I did work on 2 more solid Blaithin squares but forgot to take a picture so that will be tomorrow.

Paperwork is a job that I put off, too. Sometimes the piles overwhelm me. But gosh, once you get it cleared away . . .it is such a feeling of accomplishment!!

I need to go through files again too, I know what you mean about shredding forever! I finally figured out those two stitches and should finish those squares soon...that Hydrangea Block is real pretty. I knit on my socks today too!

DeleteI need some of your cleaning ambition! So much to do, though, so clearing, cleaning straightening, organizing, and (dare I say it?) dusting have fallen by the wayside. But a clean desk is inspirational!
ReplyDeleteI know, sometimes I get so overwhelmed that I just straighten and forget the cleaning...once things are picked up and gone through (I'm trying to downsize and get rid of things) then I'll go back and clean. Sometimes I have clean like the desktop as it tends to get dusty daily!
DeleteI cleaned my office area recently and am so happy I did. It's not a mess anymore. Good for you. I try to do one area a day, so I can have time to crochet or knit.

ReplyDeleteYour desk looks so nice now Sam. I try to go through the filing cabinet and shred in the spring and in the fall but I haven't done it yet this fall. Otherwise it all ljust gets so overwhelming. It's not a fun task at all is it?
