Stitch Maynia is here!!!!

Okay, I've had a wonderful day so far and I have lots of pictures but I won't keep you in suspense....here is Stitch Maynia Project #1................this is for St. Patrick's Day.....hopefully I will finish it by the time it rolls around again! LOL!
This is how far I got today............I'm also missing a few colors until my orders come in but I had plenty to work with for today............
I took a wonderful walk today before it got too hot...high of 77 today and in the 80's tomorrow but still no humidity so that's good!  I took my camera and these are all the different flowers I saw......

Amazing isn't it and I just walked around the block! LOL!
I made my homemade laundry detergent today..........I slice up a bar of Kirk's Castile soap.......
and then in a large container, I add it, 2 cups of washing soda, 2 cups of Borax and 1 cup of baking soda.  I then add about 10 drops of Tea Tree essential oil.  I have mine in a Lock n' Lock container so I put the lid on and shake it upside down and all around!  It so inexpensive to make and then I don't have to lug those heavy jugs around and it saves more plastic from going to the landfill.  Tea Tree oil is a germ fighter and it smells good too!  For a softner I use white vinegar.  I've got clothes out on the line right now.
I 'm making supper and just got done cooking the chicken.  Now I have to shred it and put the meal together....no "roughing" it tonight!
Stitch Maynia, a beautiful day and a good dinner tonight...what more can a gal ask for?  Wishing you health, safety and happiness!
Happy Trails!!!

  1. Love you project. I am sure you will have it done in plenty of time for St Paddy's day. Some many pretty flowers on your walk today. One of my kids used to.ake their own laundry soap. Fascinating to watch the process. Enjoy your dinner

    1. The dinner was good but I need to try her vegan alfredo sauce. I made mine the regular way but could not get the parmesan to incorporate with the liquid...bu tit tasted good.

  2. Your upbeat post is motivating, Sam! Your St. Paddy's Day stitch looks cute. And your walk sounds downright inspiring. I found it interesting to see how you cut up (or shave?) your soap for the laundry detergent. I wonder if this kind can be used in a front loading, high efficiency washer. I know it's easy to use too much soap - especially when one has soft water. I think I'll check it out. Always full of ideas and inspiration you are!

    1. I have the HE washer and dryer so yes, it works as I've been doing it for years.

    2. P.S. I have soft water too. I use 1/4 to 1/2 cup. It does not suds up as much as the commercial laundry detergent.

  5. Oh, your project is so cute!

So many pretty flowers, and I'm glad you didn't have to 'rough' it for dinner ...**smile**.

  6. You're so good at your stitching! It would take me all of a lifetime to anything like that lol. Jerry and I are allergic to so many things (including all smells/fragrances), I have to use the white bottle Purex and nothing else. I'm so allergic to tea tree that I'll begin choking and get an immediate rash. I've been roughing it most of the week while Jerry's in the hospital, I suppose I really ought to cook something, eh? lol I'll see what's in the fridge. Blessings to you Sam, be safe and stay well!

  8. What a cute first project for stitch mania. Lots of neat flowers too. I used to make my own soap using Fels Naptha. I'm not sure why I quit. Hope your day is going really well Sam.
    Blessings,

  9. I was a HIV-AIDS patient and I got it from cheating on my wife. It was sort of a payback but a week later I was told by a friend that the person who I cheated with had the HIV-AIDS virus and did not tell me. I was so stupid by not using a condom I thought since he was an old school friend he was trustworthy. But I was wrong. I cried and cried. Two days later, I got a phone call from my friend and he told me about a person who is known by another friend, who can help me. I could not let my wife know what I was going through. I finally got his email address: oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com and I emailed this man my story and he replied me immediately saying i should be calm and told me that everything will be OK. I could not come to terms with what I was hearing but then I concluded it did not matter because I was so broken I just needed help. I was going out of my mind literally. I was confused with what he was telling me, but I listened. He told me about some materials i need to buy that he needed to cast the spell and I said OK. I bought the materials to him, I sent down my picture to him and my positive result sheet and he replied me that i am going to be negative under 3days. I message Him every 2hours for 2day and I knew he thought that I was crazy but I did care I needed a shoulder. Behold, the third day he messaged me i should go for a test that i will be negative. My marriage could be broken because of a stupid mistake and my life was on the line. I remembered when I was going to get the results of my re-test I called him up again and told him that I was going to get my results today and his reply was “so" and that everything will be as he explained. I knew then that he was getting tired of me calling him, maybe I was wrong. Well I got my results and the first person I called was him - again. As he said hello I started to cry and cry. I could not believe it. I was given a second chance in life. This man is a great spiritual HIV/AIDS healer, his healing spell on aids healing is very powerful .please brothers and sister, contact Dr Ose oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com
