The only picture I have today is this photo of the sky this morning........." pink sky at morning sailor's warning" It looked like the sky was on fire. When I checked the weather it said we would get rain starting at about 6:30 p.m and the radar is looking like that is the case. The majority of the day vacillated between cloudy and sunny and it was 67....very nice for my walk.
I watched the Superbowl last night and stayed up later than normal and got up later and did chores but I certainly didn't set the world on fire that's for sure! The first thing I ran into this morning was my Keurig broke before I even got a cup of coffee. That was not a good start for me. I had instant coffee which is no substitute for the real deal trust me. So, the Keurig wouldn't even turn on. It's been here for quite a few years. I looked online for a Nespresso machine as I thought I wanted one but the cost and I drink 1 cup a day usually.....is not really worth it. I think I will just stick with my French Press as it makes a great cup of coffee and my counter is clear of the big Keurig machine.

Oh, no. Not the Kuerig! I will tell you, that happened to mine. The water was in and nothing would happen. My husband googled some repairs and I got another year out of it. Then I replaced it with the much much cheaper single cup one in an off brand from Walmart. I had lots of cups left I wanted to use. That one has lasted me at least as long as my Kuerig.
ReplyDeleteOh, nice to know! I've fixed mine before but this time no power what so ever. I tried different plugs etc but nada. Was it a Mr. Coffee you got? I have K-cups left too.

ReplyDeleteSo warm! We're supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow tomorrow and Wednesday. It was that bitter cold today that precedes snow falling. You can almost feel the damp chill.
ReplyDeleteOur big keurig died about 2 years ago and we bought a small one that holds about 3 cups of water. It works pretty well and since I only use it for an occasional cup of hot chocolate or tea and Dennis only has coffee on the weekend mornings it works fine for us.

ReplyDeleteMy Denver boy went for a 24 mile bike ride on Friday in 70 degree weather and now they are being dumped with snow. Weather sure is bipolar in many places. I was happy to see blue skies here yesterday as last week was rather gray and dull. Good you were able to get your walk in. Always makes me feel better and more creative when I get my legs moving.
ReplyDelete24 miles? Amazing what you can do when you're young! LOL! You do have to be careful with the weather as it can change in a heartbeat! When I started back walking a few week sago I was huffing and puffing and now not so much!
