NaBloPoMo Day #15

Well, I watched the impeachment hearing again so little housework got done but lots of handwork!
I worked on Sew She Did cross stitch............pay no attention to that yellow streaking...I have no idea?

and I'm up to Row #9 of 14 on the Granny Scrap Box quilt...........

and I sewed a bunch more rag strips together which I will crochet into my rag rug.............
I also picked up a prescription and discovered that my pharmacist, Jennifer, is expecting in January!  I get to make a baby blanket!!!  So excited for her and her family!   I paid a few bills and that was my day!  I hope you got more done than I did! LOL!
Happy Trails!!!

  1. Wow, look at all those quilt strips you're getting done. You'll have the blanket done soon, no doubt.

  2. Housework will always be there. Unless you are being buried under dust bunnies or trash you do what you want. Your craft work will thank you. I am really looking forward to seeing the quilt strips out together. You are getting very close.

    1. I can only do that once in awhile as I don't really like the feeling of laying around too much. It actually makes me more tired than if I did physical work.

  3. I have yarn for two baby blankets...go figure! You will have fun making one for your friend. Your quilt strips are coming along nicely!

    2. For babies I like Shell stitch if it is fine yarn. I have Baby Bernat and I will just do a double crochet I think:)

  4. I love making baby blankets. They are my favorite craft to make as there is so much joy and anticipation involved. I've got lots of knitting/crocheting done the past few days as I'm down with a doozy of a cold. My first in a few years and it reminds me of how much I dislike being sick.
    Blessings,

  5. Hi Sam :) Your cross stitch pattern is really neat, I can't wait to see it finished! I don't have a television and I honestly could care less about politics, but the way you've described watching the hearings reminds me of the 90's when I was watching the O.J. trial all day long lol...

    1. I've always been working so never saw a lot of this stuff but I am a political nerd I guess. I like to keep up with what's going on...good bad or ugly! LOL!
