YOP Week #23

Christmas is almost upon us!  Especially for those of us who have Advent gifts to mail!  But first I have a finish...in fact several........the 2019 Collectible Ornaments are done!  TaDa!!!
except for a button on the pompom on his hat and of course the final finishing into an ornament for the tree....
I didn't do much else craft wise except I am working on Santa Sunday............
Oh!  I finished my Witchy Wednesday too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I also got my Christmas Eve yarn for casting on my Christmas Eve socks!  It's sparkly!!!
Now I'll show you the Advent gifts for my daughter....there's a few missing that haven't come in yet but these are going in the mail tomorrow!  We do the 12 days of Christmas starting on the 12th.  She's going to need a little pick me up as her husband is having his foot amputated that day.  Just last week their water softner went on the fritz and they had to get another one, plus she got in a car accident and totaled her car but they are all okay...PTL!  She also had a leak under the kitchen sink.  A friend of theirs bought the water softner and installed it and her minister came over and fixed the leak under the sink.  Please pray for her and her husband and their boys....it's going to be a rough Christmas for them and for many others who have loved ones in the hospital at this time of year.  She's a teacher and you know how busy they are at Christmas and all the programs plus she has to go see her boys in their programs too and they are active in their church.  She has many wonderful friends at the schools she teaches at and also at her church so that is a blessing. Add all this to the  loss of my son, her brother, and I think we will all be glad to see the end of 2019!
These are not in any order yet but I usually order them so the presents get nicer and nicer as the days go by.  Her name is Amy so I thought this was cute for the holidays.............
      Some kitchen essentials I made............
cosmetic pads....I think I made her a dozen and they are washable and dryable.........

2 packages of holiday scented sachet................
2 magnetic grocery list pads..........she loves Fall and Halloween............
a set of Burt's Bees lip balms......

this fabulous foaming soap I get at Walmart that is lemon scented with essential oils...no chemicals and smells so good..............she and I both love citrus smells ..........
a shawl in her favorite Fall colors................
She loves this brand and it is Orange Blossom and Honey body butter.............again....pure stuff!
Would you believe I found this at Walmart?  We both adore bacon and I could not pass this up!  I think it was the only jar there too.....
I'm trying to remember what else but I'll show you another time.............   I'm pretty sure the bacon jam will be the last gift!  She will love it!
Now for your Christmas Tidbits for today..................

I think I will add this one to my Christmas cookie/candy list.............I used to make green colored wreathes with cinnamon candy berries but it was cornflakes made like rice krispy treats....they were really pretty..............I'm into vintage everything this year!  The recipe is here
and finally..............I think this is so cute!  If you used velcro you could change out your lampshade covers for every holiday!  Brilliant!  This site has all kinds of cute Christmas crafts....I mean REALLY cute! And guess what?  They're vintage inspired!  Right up my alley! Here's the link to it
I threw a "fat flushing" soup in the crock pot this morning............I really like it too....I've made it several times and if it helps me drop some ounces...I'm all for it especially before my doctors appointment next week! LOL!  Here's a link to the recipe and her website
Please stop by and visit the other fabulous makes by YOP'ers here
Happy Trails!!!

  2. I am so sorry to hear about your SIL, and yes I can imagine the stress that your daughter feels. I'll pray for them. I'm sure it will be quite a process to adapt. I do love that you and your daughter do Advent gifts for one another. Your gifts for her are fun and terrific. Last year I did Advent gifts for my grown sons, but with me not managing to pull it together by Thanksgiving - and then all of them traveling the first week of December, I decided that this year it just wouldn't happen. I'm king of hoping they don't notice. ;^) I love your Sunday Santa, and good for you for finishing the stitching on the Santa ornaments. Those are going to look great finished up. I hope you have a good week, friend. Everything vintage sounds like a fine Christmas plan to me. :) Now I'm wanting some Krispy Marshmallow Treats.

  5. Good gracious you've been busy Sam! The Santa ornaments are really cute as are your other stitching. I think you've picked out some wonderful gifts for your daughter, full of love and since you know her so well, she will realize the thoughtfulness and care that you put into each package.
I'm so very, very sorry that she has so much on her plate this year. It's been a rough one for all of you. I'm so happy that she has a good support system who are there to help with practical issues as well as praying for her. I will aso keep her and your SIL and grandsons in my prayers this Christmas and beyond.
Take care and be kind to yourself my friend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. You did a great job on the little ornaments. I am sure the Grands will love them and cherish them. Your Sunday Santa is really coming along so nicely. Looks like it will be done by Christmas also. Your new sock yarn is pretty and sparkles always makes it so much more festive and fun to work with. I just adore the 12 days of Christmas tradition you and your daughter have. What a fun way to be connected through the miles. That Cornflake candy looks so yummy. Just might actually make that this year. I have a box of cornflakes sitting around that needs to be used up.

  12. When i read a testimony online on how Dr.Manbela the great and most powerful spell caster help to bring back Divorce husband or wife EX LOVER. I was wondering how can this be true, Because many has failed me in the past without any result from them. I just let the post pass by and move on the forum. To my notice under again, Some person posted and said tested and trusted spell caster. After reading through the mail it was this same man Dr.Manbela she was talking about. So i have no other option than to really check up how he works.I was totally devastated when my beloved husband left me. It was like my entire world vanishing into sorrow and pain. I know it sounds weird but out of all the spell casters I contacted, he was the only one to give me that impression of being so true and trustful. More than his words,He brought my husband back and he made all my wishes come true. He is now loyal, pays attention to me, he offers me flowers every Sunday, and we often go out at the cinema and the restaurant. my wife came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my family are living together happily again.. I will be forever thankful for turning my life from hell to heaven! i believe who need help should get to him for help. May God continue to use you to save broken relationship. To every one with marital problem, divorce issues, lost lover or any relationship related issues, you can contact Dr. Manbela spell caster via email address manbelaspelltemple1@gmail.com or Whats-app or call number +2348052205551
