I've watered and watered but there is nothing like a little rain to make plants happy! We got a good "frog strangler" about 4 days ago and it sure brightened things up around here.
My radishes are doing well....................
and it's about time to harvest some lettuce.............
The mandevilla is THE plant for a hot environment but I think the bigger pots help too....they hold more water to keep the roots cool.
I hope you had a great day and only 2 more days until the Olympics start!!!!!! I'm SO excited you'd think I was in them! LOL!
Ha! If you were in the Olympics, you'd be doing more than watering plants right about now. :) This morning the skies are whiteish which means there's dust out there, high in the sky. Not even my moss roses are flowering at this point. Though the plants on my balcony are green, they don't have a brilliant hue -- they have turned rather dull, blending into the environment around them. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThe recent rain we got really made a difference.

ReplyDeleteSo happy for you that you received some rain!
It does make a big difference!!
Love those marigolds... I know, they are a humble flower, but I love them anyway :)

p.s. I'm looking forward to the Olympics beginning too!
Lovely flowers. Glad the rain finally found you. We are back to 90+ days with Heat index of 100+. I'm staying indoors. Enjoy the Olympics!
ReplyDeleteOh, forgot to tell you. I've finally started a blog (very new) and would love to have you pop over and see what you think. I'm still learning but already enjoying it.
