But I have been doing a few things. I managed to get a few rows done on my Granny Stripe Table Runner
And there's a few less pins on my wool applique...........
I finished a book ...okay, so it was a very little book..............
and no it is NOT political......it is more about "united we stand, divided we fall" and how we need to take responsibility as citizens to ensure the future of our country regardless of our political affiliation. I highly recommend it.
I hope you had a wonderful Saturday and I have to go look out the window now at rain clouds moving our way! Yes! Yes! Yes!
Glad you had a no fire danger. The bbq sounds wonderful. Love it any time someone else does the cooking.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you managed to salvage the day in spite of the fire danger. I hope those fires stay far away from you.
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
It's lovely to eat out and let someone else do the cooking and washing up! The weather couldn't be more different over here in England - it just won't stop raining! Maggie xx
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some rain Sam. I started a book, but it's fiction, #17 in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.
ReplyDeleteGosh I happy to hear that whatever the source of the smoke was, it did not turn out to be a danger to you. I eat out so infrequently that it is always a real treat for me as well. I worry when you skip a day of blogging so I'm glad to hear that all is well in Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteWater, water, water! That looks like the story for at least the next week here. Any chance of rain has been taken out of the forecast. :( Sometimes you just have to let someone else do all those chores. Glad to hear you got out and enjoyed some cold ones!! The applique is looking great!!
ReplyDeleteWe are going on another week of no rain. At least the 100 degree weather dropped down to the 80's and 90's now.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are being productive...even in the heat!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the congrats, yes, we have a Grayson and a Maxwell! How funny, that you have them both, also.
Always nice to do something a little different and be a little creative every day, too. Glad to hear you got a little rain. Take care! Tammy
