And the regular bearded Iris................
Tut tut....look at all the grass/weeds in there!
Moonbeam Coreopsis came back in a container no less!
Talk about "ramblin' rose" they are growing out onto the sidewalk! There's little Orphan Annie guarding me in case there might be something in amongst all that foliage (and weeds). Ummm...looks like that bench could use a coat of paint. I'd better add that to my "never-ending" list!
My sweet little pansies and a marigold I just stuck in there. I'll need more in there as once the heat arrives the pansies will wilt. But for now they are enjoying the weather as am I.
The primroses are becoming acclimated too. I've never grown these before but I am loving their bright variety of colors.
So, I 've shared just one of the many things that make me happy. What makes your heart soar? Be sure and give yourself a little happiness today! Happy Monday everyone!
I need to get more Primrose. I have one I planted last spring. It is purple/blue color. Anything outside, nope not anything, supposed to snow today. Most anything outside makes me smile. Enjoy those little moments and have a good week!
ReplyDeleteGet some chickens on those weeds. I had mine in a pen on the grass and they mowed the whole section. Not sure if they would eat the iris though. So pretty. All the first flowers of spring are always the most vivid aren't they?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and lovely roses.

Beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the moonbeam coreopsis... that was my husbands grandmother's favorite flower :)
I left a reply to you under your comment on my blog. Hope I was able to answer your questions.
I'm going to add your blog to my blog roll too :)
Have a great Monday!
I do so want to plant some primrose this year...sooo pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteYep, my iris is bloomin' along with many other flowers but it was 32 down in this frost holler this mornin'. I fear my flower and I are both weepin'!!!
God bless and have a super great week sweetie!!! :o)
Beautiful flowers. I can't plant here until around Mother's Day weekend. I can't wait too.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow yesterday. My azalea is blooming so I need to go outside today and see how it weathered the storm. Looks like it's a rain/snow mix outside right now. Oh boy. There were 16 inches of snow predicted and we did not get anywhere close to that much. Maybe an inch at most. What a strange Earth Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteWish I had some of that rambling rose. Wow! It's gorgeous. I think you should plant some hollyhocks. As of yesterday, I didn't know what they were, but I knew I loved them. Thankfully there are a lot of knowledgeable blogger friends out there. Hope you are having a good day. Tammy
