Memorial Day!!!

and..............
It was supposed to storm yesterday and today but per usual...the sky is blue and the sun is shining!  I don't mind as I am back to making sun plans and rain plans so either way I am good to go!  Because it was going to be in the  80's I got out early and took my walk.  I then sprayed poison ivy, took down some poisonous vines climbing up the brick on my house, and transplanted my cherry tomato plants.   I purposely use my tomato cages upside down when I plant in containers....it's easier.   These are the tomatoes I grew from seed.  The cherry tomatoes are the biggest plants so far, go figure?
I think I need to move them.........
I also planted some basil and some bush beans......
My hose broke so I am back to watering the old fashioned way but I am going to need a couple more hoses for this summer.
The clematis is doing great since I transplanted them last year..........
I burned an entire box full of paper.  I had way too much to shred...........
I also got some solar lights that I put on my front porch railing...........they work really well and weren't that expensive...........I'll have to take a picture at night and show you.........
This is my Stitch Maynia Day #25 pattern.....a free pattern from Glory Bee.....she has some nice ones.
I've been outside most of the day and dirty so I didn't do much so far...........
I tried starting the Habitation Shawl and I have already run into trouble....it's an I-Cord cast on?  I got the first instructions fine and there is an itty-bitty 3 stitch i-cord but then I do not understand her next directions so I will be watching some YouTube videos before I go any further......live and learn...hopefully!
That's all for today folks.  I'm going to finish the last "load" of burning and then come in and close the windows, turn on the AC, change my sheets, and take a bath!
Happy Trails!!!

  1. Good job on stitch mania! I almost finished all my plantings; good thing too with all the additional rain in the forecast.

    1. I was juts thinking of you last night and wondering how you were doing. Glad to hear from you. I am late with the planting but it's been a crazy Spring.

  2. Your plants are doing well. How long before the cherry tomatoes bloom and set? I think herbs are so nice to grow and have for cooking. Fresh is always better. You have done so much today, already. You amaze me.

  3. Gosh, you are so productive. My husband, son and daughter in law mulched everywhere, trimmed everywhere, put everything away and we had a thunderstorm the moment they were done. We got an inch and 2/10 in 15 minutes! We were lucky, the new edging my husband put by the driveway held the mulch in. It was quite the test.

    1. I need mulch but I would have to drive 1 1/2 hours to get the kind I like and then have to go in a store. I'm going to see if I can order online but probably shipping would be too high! I wish I had that kind of help! I bet it looks really nice.

  4. You had a busy day! I replanted all the plants from my kitchen, helped hubby make shiplap, weeded the garden and videotaped a story for my grands. The tomato plants that I started from seed are growing VERY slowly and are still in the greenhouse. What would we do without YouTube? I can't tell you how many times I have gone there for stitching help!

  6. Your clematis is such an amazing blue! So vivid! I've been trying to talk my daughter-inlaw into getting a couple for their front porch poles. I started a lot of things for the kids' garden from seed this year. They bought a handful of store plants but for the most part it's all seed started. Takes longer to get goinf but I love the satisfaction of watching the plants from beginning to end. My cherry tomato plants have always seemed to grow faster than any other regular type... go figure huh!

    1. I won't go to the garden center so I have to be happy with what I have which is not much. No pretty flowers this year except from seed. Although my coreopsis is blooming already!

  7. I love your metal watering can. Last summer I finally bought a big ol' plastic one that works just fine, but I like your metal one better. :) I haven't planted a single thing this spring. I'm wondering how long I can go before it's too late. It's supposed to cool down at the end of the week, so maybe I'll venture into a garden center then and see if anything good is left. Or maybe I'll find some bargains...

    1. I don't intend to go to a garden center so I have to be happy with what I have! I miss the annual flowers that I usually buy so I'll have to be happy with seeds that I already have.

  10. I am always inspired by all you accomplish in a day. I have some tomato seeds that I'd like to start. We can pretty much do it any time in south FL but I know I'm later than most.

  13. My brioche scarf had a 2 colour icord cast on and I couldn’t get the tension right, so I tried single colour icord cast on and that worked fine. I found quite a few good videos that showed you slowly, but unfortunately I don’t remember which YouTube channel it was on.

  14. I was a HIV-AIDS patient and I got it from cheating on my wife. It was sort of a payback but a week later I was told by a friend that the person who I cheated with had the HIV-AIDS virus and did not tell me. I was so stupid by not using a condom I thought since he was an old school friend he was trustworthy. But I was wrong. I cried and cried. Two days later, I got a phone call from my friend and he told me about a person who is known by another friend, who can help me. I could not let my wife know what I was going through. I finally got his email address: oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com and I emailed this man my story and he replied me immediately saying i should be calm and told me that everything will be OK. I could not come to terms with what I was hearing but then I concluded it did not matter because I was so broken I just needed help. I was going out of my mind literally. I was confused with what he was telling me, but I listened. He told me about some materials i need to buy that he needed to cast the spell and I said OK. I bought the materials to him, I sent down my picture to him and my positive result sheet and he replied me that i am going to be negative under 3days. I message Him every 2hours for 2day and I knew he thought that I was crazy but I did care I needed a shoulder. Behold, the third day he messaged me i should go for a test that i will be negative. My marriage could be broken because of a stupid mistake and my life was on the line. I remembered when I was going to get the results of my re-test I called him up again and told him that I was going to get my results today and his reply was “so" and that everything will be as he explained. I knew then that he was getting tired of me calling him, maybe I was wrong. Well I got my results and the first person I called was him - again. As he said hello I started to cry and cry. I could not believe it. I was given a second chance in life. This man is a great spiritual HIV/AIDS healer, his healing spell on aids healing is very powerful .please brothers and sister, contact Dr Ose oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com
