YOP Week #36

It was a beautiful week here weatherwise and I tried to take advantage of it but my crafting suffered...oh well.  I joined the Prim Village SAL through the Fat Quarter Shop and I need to have the border done by Wednesday.   I'm doing pretty good.....it will be a lot more interesting when I get to the houses!
I finally got started on the ironing board cover but boy was it difficult to get down on the floor and trace it all out!  But I got it done and that was enough for one day! LOL!  It wasn't just tracing.  You had to measure 4" out from the board all the way around.
I used this wonderful fabric marker and eraser set...............worked slick!
The rest of the week was spent cleaning, cooking, some gardening and planning and clearing out.
My bokchoy base that I stuck in water is flowering!  In 1 week just look at the leaves and flowers!  Amazing!

I also made some Minnesota Peach Cobbler from the Peach Cobbler Murder book by Joanna Fluke.  It is delicious!

I'm already working on the Prim Village border again this morning.  I subscribed to Acorn T.V. yesterday and watched Agatha Raisin whose books I've read.  It's a mystery series and the books are great and so was the first one in the series on Acorn.
I'm off to take my walk and then I've got ham and potato soup to put together and then Acorn T.V. and some handwork.  A perfect Sunday!  I hope you are all well and enjoying your week!
Here are your"tidbits" for today...................
Here' s the instructions
I love this bag but have no instructions.....I'll be searching though! If you find anything out there similar please let me know!

Now for a little levity...............

Happy Trails!!!

  1. I am amazed at the bok choy. Are you going to grow it for food? The ironing board cover is very interesting. I admire you for getting down on the ground and back up. The back up is my issue lol. Going down is never a problem. Your peach cobbler looks so yummy.

    1. Not sure about the bokchoy from the cut off portion although it seems to be rooting.
My celery didn't make it but whatever greens grow can be used for salad or soup. I managed to get down and back up but being comfortable doing it was the problem.

    2. I have been married to my wife for 6 years and recently she broke up with me and it hurt me deeply when she told me to leave her alone and that she doesn't love me anymore when i was always faithful and honest to her. I tried all the ways to get her back buying her what she wants like I always did and she still left me heart broken and she even has a new boyfriend which destroyed me even more until a friend of mine from high school directed me to Dr Emu. This man changed my life completely. I followed everything he told me to do and my wife came back. I was stunned everything happened exactly like he told me. I had faith in everything he told me and everything was true. You can contact him via email: Emutemple@gmail.com He will help you in anything you need and quick to answer once you contact him through his whats-app number: +2347012841542

  2. the bok choy flower looks like a primula. I wonder if they are somehow in the same family of plants?

    1. I figure if I have enough of those type of greens growing it would be enough for a salad occasionally or to throw in soup. We'll see. I'm experimenting. My celery rotted but I will try again.
Today I need to cut the rest of the materials for the cover and get it done!

  4. Since you are on Acorn, try the Murdoch Mysteries. Jim and I enjoyed them - one episode was a little weird, but the rest are pretty interesting.

  5. Peach cobbler ! Yum! Of course I would have done something stupid with the ironing board cover like set it up throw the fabric on top and eyeball it and then cut it...you are way more fussy with your ironing board than I am!
That bag should be fairly simple...19 squares joined together and then a boarder around the top...and skipped stitches for the handle opening...you can do it Sam!

    1. I am a stickler for following directions and even then things don't always work out. I was thinking too I could probably figure out the bag myself...thanks for figuring most of it out for me!

  6. I made a similar bag for my sister a few years ago. It had long straps for handles but you could adapt pattern. It's called 'Patchwork Bag' by Nicki Trench from her book Cute and Easy Crochet.

    1. Thank you! I think I have a book by her but no bag in it or I would have remembered that one! I will be looking for that one! Thanks again!

  7. Ha-ha! Loved that last little joke. I swear, there are people that need that kind of phone to keep them at home. Tired of people getting in their cars thinking they can talk on their phone, chat and even watch whatever they are watching. They think the front seat of their car is a couch. It's mind blowing. Used to make peach cobbler all the time but haven't made one in many, many years. Enjoy! Have a good week.

  8. I really like that bag but I think I would like a sturdier handle. The colors are great! I think you could make that bag easily Sam. I think it's great you got down on the floor and back up. It's the back up I have a problem with. Dennis and I went for two walks today just to get out of the house and get some exercise. No church for us today as my cardiologist's office called and said no groups of over 10 people for now and preferably no outside people at all if possible. Apparently I'm in a high risk group. I know that it's not possible to stay aways from everyone, but going to church probably wasn't wise. We watched a live feed from Mandy's church in Omaha for our house in Washington! Isn't technology grand? It's a good thing I'm such a homebody. :-)
    Have a great Monday Sam.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

    1. You have a great Monday too. I think that is why I have stayed healthy for so long. I never go anywhere or 'hobknob' with anyone. Just doctors every 6months and Walmart twice a month. Glad you were able to go to church online!

  11. I was a HIV-AIDS patient and I got it from cheating on my wife. It was sort of a payback but a week later I was told by a friend that the person who I cheated with had the HIV-AIDS virus and did not tell me. I was so stupid by not using a condom I thought since he was an old school friend he was trustworthy. But I was wrong. I cried and cried. Two days later, I got a phone call from my friend and he told me about a person who is known by another friend, who can help me. I could not let my wife know what I was going through. I finally got his email address: oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com and I emailed this man my story and he replied me immediately saying i should be calm and told me that everything will be OK. I could not come to terms with what I was hearing but then I concluded it did not matter because I was so broken I just needed help. I was going out of my mind literally. I was confused with what he was telling me, but I listened. He told me about some materials i need to buy that he needed to cast the spell and I said OK. I bought the materials to him, I sent down my picture to him and my positive result sheet and he replied me that i am going to be negative under 3days. I message Him every 2hours for 2day and I knew he thought that I was crazy but I did care I needed a shoulder. Behold, the third day he messaged me i should go for a test that i will be negative. My marriage could be broken because of a stupid mistake and my life was on the line. I remembered when I was going to get the results of my re-test I called him up again and told him that I was going to get my results today and his reply was “so" and that everything will be as he explained. I knew then that he was getting tired of me calling him, maybe I was wrong. Well I got my results and the first person I called was him - again. As he said hello I started to cry and cry. I could not believe it. I was given a second chance in life. This man is a great spiritual HIV/AIDS healer, his healing spell on aids healing is very powerful .please brothers and sister, contact Dr Ose oseremenspelltemple@gmail.com
