If I list all my 'categories' of crafting, I barely touched them this week but I am making slow progress on all fronts which I guess is better than no progress at all. I did finish the bibs which is good because she had her baby Wednesday and both are doing fine. I used worsted weight yarn with the same hook size throughout and look at the difference in the sizes! Oh well, I hope she likes them and the baby can use them. Should I have used cotton yarn?
That was in the 'gift' category and so is this one which I should only have one gift going at a time...but now that the bibs are done, I do. Here's the 'gift' cowl which I worked on and there are 10 rows done which could be a finish but I am making the 20 row version so I am halfway done.

For those of you who only stop by on YOP Sundays, I got my punch needle supplies and pattern in finally! Here is the pattern and I was going to 'get going' on it right away as I have been waiting so long but alas.............I have none of the floss needed, not a single one and needle punch uses a lot of floss. I am trying to decide between buying floss or yarn or material...............I think I need a decision wheel in my life...or lots more money! :) Stay tuned!
I did watch some new to me podcasts and need to look at my history to see what they were but was truly inspired and got lots of ideas for knitting projects for me! Some of the names are The Shift which is a cowl, Lost In Time which is a shawl, I think and there was more. I need to go back and look at their show notes. Plus, I was looking at Hue loco yarn and her mini skeins. Pricey though but beautiful and available. Also, Joji Locatelli sweater patterns. I hope you had a great fiber week!

ReplyDeleteI used cotton yarn for my bibs but I imagine anything would work. You got them done! Cross something off your list! I caught up with the Blathian CAL today. Now I wait a week for the next pattern and that is just fine with me. I think I may be ready for that one to be done. The big sort continues:)
ReplyDeleteJoji patterns are some on my 'to do' list. Her clothes are so relaxed and are exactly the type of knit I love to wear. You did quite a bit of crafting this week. You just spread it over several projects. You have also been faithful in your walking each day the weather permits. That cowl looks so nice and will keep your neck nice and warm. I hope the new mommy loves those bibs. You can never have too many bibs.

I can imagine how much those soft little bibs will be worn! I think you are making steady progress toward your goals. I have managed to do some sewing every day since the new year began, some days not for very long, and am almost surprised to see how much I have accomplished. Happy sunshine today! Yay!
