I went to Wally World today and got supplies and fresh fruits and vegetables to try and offset that 'killer meal' I fixed last night! LOL! While I was there I picked up some fat quarters and a few 'on sale' bits of fabric..............something with a Spring flavor to it for a little mini something I have in mind.......more to be revealed on Sunday.............
"all things bright and beautiful"!
These I found in the sale bin and who can resist fabric on sale? All 100% cotton too for my quilting pleasure............
I'm 'auditioning' fabrics for tomorrow is the start of another Craft Weekend! Yay!!!!!!
What are your plans for this weekend? I hope you made room for some things that bring you joy!
Happy Trails!
Some very yummy looking fabrics. Ooohhh hurry up Sunday, I NEED to see what you have planned.
ReplyDeletethank you, Marsha! I'm looking forward to it too! I just hope I get lots done so I have something to show you!
DeleteI didn't know Walmart sells fabric! Oh boy I need to visit the one in the south bay here. Fabric is another rabbit hole I could go down to. I'm holding off because I need to make my husband's stocking first.
ReplyDeleteFor awhile they stopped but then when sewing got big again they started. I'm not sure every Walmart carries it so I would call first. They always have real bargains on fabric.....it's not Moda but it's 100% cotton and it's not $10.00 a yard and their sale bin is great!
DeleteAnother project? ha ha ha! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need therapy? In fact, I'm pretty sure of it! LOL!
DeleteHi Sam! :) The fabrics look so cheerful, and you sound the same :) This weekend for me is all about baking and reading I think. That always brings me lots of joy. My formerly dreaded chore - now a task I look forward to: Dog Grooming Day!! :) Took me 6 minutes to do 54 dog nails, I love that Dremel! :) I'm trying to appreciate the snow falling at least we're at a point where we don't have to shovel! :) Enjoy your Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra, for your recent visit. I will need to retry on my jumper and see if I like the sleeves ribbing that loose. I found cucumber kimchi uses anchovy paste while cabbage kimchi uses fish sauce and daikon. I'm excited to try it; I'm going to wait for my mister to come home later tonight and we can try it together.
