Below is my bathmat which is nearly done as the center is finished and I am now working on the edge which will only be about 4 or 5 inches more of knitting. I shouldn't say "only" as a lot could go wrong between now and then! LOL!
I did a few more rows of crochet on my Granny Stripe table runner and of course I try not to let the "ends" get away from me so I only do a few rows and then I weave in the ends.
The most I did on my wool applique was to gather the wool for the next block! LOL! Only 2 blocks to go and then the appliqued and embroidered binding/edging that goes all around it.
Hope you're having a great Sunday and guess what???? I FINALLY got to see some equestrian on the Olympics today! YES!!!!!
You are really making progress on you YOP's. I may have to participate in that next year. I don't think this year will work for me. All the ups and downs I'm having currently. Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I really appreciate that you take the time to read it and comment.

Oh yes. No my Hubs doesn't have a twin. Believe me when I say you wouldn't want one. He is a sweet guy but can be all sorts of stubborn a lot of times. But what can I do, I love him. : )
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you are using in your table runner. They are so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteGood progress and you will have a fantastic table runner. I totally agree about the end. I just finished a ripple blanket and I was so happy to have only 5 ends to weave!
ReplyDeleteGo you...your knitting needles must be smoking....watching Olympics and knitting obviously suits you well....your stripe can't be far off now, it'll be so lovely when you can start using it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.x
Great progress this week, its amazing what we can get done with the Olympics. I'm still really in love with the bright colours of your table runner and the knitting is looking great.
ReplyDeleteEverything is coming along nicely. Only two more of the applique blocks. Will be nice to see that project all finished up. But with the appliqued/embroidered binding, I guess you still have a ways to go. Have a great week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteAll your projects are coming along beautifully!
Are you going to back your bathmat with non-slip tape?
Enjoy this week :)

It's so easy to get behind on weaving in ends. Every so often I have to stop and make sure I catch up with the ends in my sock yarn blanket.
ReplyDeleteYou are making good progress on some very pretty projects. It's nice to have several things going at the same time so that you don't get bored. That is what happens to me when I have one large project that I am working on. I look forward to seeing your items when finished.---------

How disciplined you are to weave all the ends in as you go :) I wish I could bring myself to do that! Love the cheery colours!
ReplyDeleteThat's smart to weave the ends in as you go!
ReplyDeleteLoving your granny stripes runner - so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great fall colors in your wool for the appliques.
ReplyDeleterefresh a girl's mind, the applique project, is that felting or quilting? It seems I should know what it is...
ReplyDeleteI have a bathmat I am thinking of upcycling some very old towels for. I think it will probably be more like a rag rug. Yours is turning out very pretty.
The table runner looks great, and you are very sensible to weave the ends on as you go.
