The thread holder above I got at a garage sale awhile back and I'm just now starting to put it into use. It's just one of the things I've picked up for my future "sewing room". Right now I use my dining room for my sewing room. I put the thread holder in the family room next to my chair where I do my needlework and so far I only have my perle cotton embroidery thread in it.
I bought this pattern through the mail and I'm going to make a little wall hanging in honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
I picked these up at Wal-Mart last week and they are delicious! Not only that but they are healthy for you too. They come in a box with individual packets and the above is Ginger and is said to help the immune system and below (sorry for the empty package...I ate them! LOL!) are the chocolate ones which are 70% cocoa which we know is good for you and these little cookies promote digestive health through fiber.
Both flavors are very tasty and the little hearts are so cute. They're a great healthy snack and good with a cup of tea in the afternoon or evening. I'll be buying these on a regular basis!
Enjoy your Saturday and I hope you have great weather!
Hi!
ReplyDeleteNice to have a way to organize things with the bobbin holder.
Can't wait to see your little wall hanging finished too.
Another project :)
I've never heard of, or seen the cookies that you like.
Did you find them in the health dept. or the cookie section?
Have a great weekend!
Catch ya later...
Kerin
It's the morning of the wedding and here I am, commenting on your blog. Spent the night at Hotel Baker with my 2 daughters and they're not awake yet so thought I'd do a little reading. I use my dining room as a sewing room, too. Love your little thread holder!
ReplyDeleteI love checking in on your projects.
ReplyDeleteThere you go getting all organized again. I've not seen a thread holder like that. Great find! I just looked up those cookies. They sound good and good for you. Have a great day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteI have seen those cookies. I will have to give them a try. I love anything with the Union Jack on it. Can't wait to see what you make.
