Fun Friday and shopping!

I actually did go to Walmart today but I have also gotten an Amazon order in this week too!  I'm starting to order some groceries 'online' and this time I ordered coffee........I have Amazon Prime so it is free shipping and they have a great selection of Keurig K-Cup coffees.........
I got Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice and their Wild Mountain Blueberry both are very good!  I usually get Carribou coffee but Tim Horton's was rated higher so I thought I would try it and it is good but I like my Carribou the best!
I also got a DVD/CD external drive for my pc which I have been wanting.........
a new Bible of the New Living Translation............
some 32 inch cable 2.75 mm Chiagu needles for sock knitting with the cord that doesn't twist!  I'm not finished with sock #1 but I had to cast on sock #2 to see how these needles feel....I've only cast on so I really can't tell yet but I think I am going to like them a lot!  I love my Addi Turbo's but the cord twists and turns.
I also got this book that Joyce of Ruby Moss Cottage mentioned and I love it....so many great projects by a bunch of different designers.....my first project will be the doily that Joyce was making!
As for what I got at Walmart...............I had to upgrade my candle and meltie supply with fall scents...after all, today was the official first day of fall................
Some cotton yarn in colors I don't have.................
the Fall issue of Pioneer Woman............
and I think that about does it for Fun Friday!  I'm going to kick back and veg out!  The groceries are put away, it is hotter than a firecracker in July here so it doesn't feel like Fall but I have power and AC and food and water and I am blessed!  Have a wonderful Friday night!
Happy Trails!!!

  1. I love shopping online. As I get older I discover I am not a fan of crowds and dealing with rude people. Thanks for the melty reminder. I will change mine out tonight. Your Boho Crochet book looks woderful. You are sure to wow me with upcoming projects.

I am making your summer squash tonight. That looked soooo yummy.

    1. The Octopus was made by Stefanie of Wooly Cakes and Wooden Spoons. Why it shows up so huge I have no idea but I don't mind as it is so cute! She did an amigurumi cat also that is just precious. I didn't see you either and I was looking for you! LOL! Love those mums!

  3. So many fun, fun things. I need to check out Amazon for groceries. I think you're going to love the new needles. I have the 40 inch and they are so much easier to use than my old ones. The cable is so flexible. Your new Bible is so pretty and the cover is my favorite color too. I I didn't realize the new PW magazine is out. I need to look for it nets time I'm out.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

    1. Walmart is also competing with Amazon and offering free shipping with $35.00 which wouldn't be hard for groceries at all! I'm thinking of ordering the dog food I get there as those cans are heavy to lug and load....this way it would come right to my door!

    1. The Bible is the New Living Translation which I really like and it was so reasonable. I like Prime as I get free books on my Kindle too and free movies and t.v. shows.

  6. What a happy post to read! :) I feel blessed too, though I REFUSE to put the A/C on...I'm going to enjoy sweltering one last time before the snow falls lol!!! I have a Tassimo...and we stopped using it because those discs are so expensive...so I bought an inexpensive little coffee maker at Walmart...second time the darn thing stopped working...I think we'll just go back to the Tassimo. I often buy my coffee and pantry supplies online too, but I had to stop because our mailman tosses the boxes and everything gets all bent...nothing is perfect! :)

    1. Your heat isn't like ours...trust me! LOL! Although this time of year is not as humid. I also live in a brick house that heats up like an oven by evening. I can do with out it during the day but at night I turn it on. I'm surrounded by woods and there is no breeze...ever! Once it cools off for Fall though then that's my summer when I sit outside and work outside....even in the winter here.
I stopped using the Keurig but realized it is one of my most enjoyable parts of the day. I am also doing some time-saving and convenience things for myself so I can have time for the things I really want to do.
That's too bad about the boxes...I've had no trouble so far.

  8. Yum! Have ever tried Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange Spice? It's herbal so you can drink it at night....no caffeine. I love it in the Winter and they have an apple cinnamon too. Please send some of that cool weather down here...I beg of you!
