Toasty Tuesday!

It's snowing again but just snow showers that aren't sticking.  It hasn't gotten out of the 30's today. Evidently, we're getting the Winter we never had.  I had a lot of calls and visitors today....that's strange because I never get either but it was all business.
Yesterday I made cookies from this..........it's cookie butter made from Biscoff cookies
I used my peanut butter cookie recipe and replaced the peanut butter with the Biscoff butter instead...no nuts and although I rolled them into balls I did not use a fork to crisscross them like I do with my pb cookies....instead I used a flat bottomed glass dipped in sugar.........they are yummy and taste like Biscoff cookies I can no longer get at Walmart but they had the butter.....go figure............
This afternoon I spent all afternoon making breakfast potatoes and then the filling for breakfast burritos.....they had better be good as it was a lot of work!  Here's the filling.....a whole bunch of it!
Where are those ranch hands?
I hope you had a great day and stay warm unless you're in Miami or Tucson and then it's a mute point!
Happy Trails!

  1. I love breakfast burritos, but I'm sick again today. I would love someone to stay home and cook for me, but the kids only have a delay today. They don't cook for me anyway, usually Hubby picks up soup for me.

  2. Good Morning! Your cooking/baking look delicious. Breakfast burritos sound yummy this morning. I still need to eat some breakfast. You asked if I had ever been to Mary Jane's shop in Coeur d'Alene. Yes, I have been there several times. It's an amazing shop, filled with the most nostalgic items you can imagine. At one time I was going to make doilies for them to sell, but I was afraid I would loose the joy in making them. Does that make sense? I would rather give them away. Coeur d'Alene is a beautiful small city/town right on a huge lake in the mountains of north Idaho. It's about 30-35 miles from our house and is a huge tourist destination. Skiers flock there in the winter because of several world class ski resorts very close by. In the summer, it's lake living all the way! :-) It does tend to attract the more wealthy crowd, especially from Hollywood. We usually go the opposite direction, north, to our little lake where it's more everyday people like us! Coeur d'Alene is lots of fun to visit a few times every year though and see all of the fun things the "other half" enjoys!

  3. Oooh Sam your breakfast looks delicious!!!! :) I'm such a sucker for egg dishes...So do the cookies, but I've never heard of Biscoff before. I don't think we get that in my part of Canada. Sugar cookie-like?

  4. Man, I'd love to hang out at your place to eat and knit!
