And it is great to see the other piece come together too! As for the 'book' post...I'm listening to 'An Arctic Mystery' by Jules Verne. I like those oldies! (got mine from Librivox) and am also listening to 'Pilgrim's Progress' ( John Bunyan) and reading a paper book' called 'Ordinary' by Michael Horton. I always have several books on the go simultaneously, so this is the short short list ;-)Charne https://www.blogger.com/profile/00181663448450444529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4823072828140599817.post-1238676253862322242015-03-02T03:42:49.378-06:002015-03-02T03:42:49.378-06:00Wow your blanket is looking so lovely..I love all ...Wow your blanket is looking so lovely..I love all your sweet prone to..
Big hugs xcuckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650071456271781518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4823072828140599817.post-77237581594326548472015-03-01T20:21:17.667-06:002015-03-01T20:21:17.667-06:00Your blanket is coming along very nicely. I crocheted a border around it to join the knitted fabric to the cloth, (mine was flannel for a baby blanket). Then I tied it, just like a tied quilt, with yarn to match the knitted side and tied on the cloth side. I hope that helps.

Thank you for the link to the BAL. I think I'll check it out. Freezing rain, snow and sleet here in Washington DC where I'm still visiting my daughter. It's much warmer at home in Washington State!
Blessings,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4823072828140599817.post-32889067946812773512015-03-01T19:57:54.064-06:002015-03-01T19:57:54.064-06:00I love that Hexie blanket maybe by next weekend I ...I love that Hexie blanket maybe by next weekend I can get started on one! Thanks for the links to the instructions. I printed them out...I have joined as you go before and it works slick once you figure it out. I am still working on Harlows blanket and my woodcarvings and my bead projects.
Your blanket is coming along...I lined some drapes once but I am not a seamstress so I have no idea about the finishing of the blanket. :) Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4823072828140599817.post-90759467564414772862015-03-01T19:39:34.972-06:002015-03-01T19:39:34.972-06:00Ooh, I like that expression, "chuffed." ...Ooh, I like that expression, "chuffed." It's snappy. I like how the mini hexies lay flat. Join as you go is super helpful. I used Lucy's method for Jellybean's colourful hexagon blanket. I do still want to make a traditional granny square blanket where you have to sew them together. But we got out for a bit of a hike today...my first time out in 2 weeks! Hope you feel better all this coming week. I'm always amazed at how much you accomplish my friend. You inspire me. I did make a little dollie dress this week.
