  1. Oh I like your granny shawl. It’s beautiful. I think you’ll be surprised how easy the Multnomah “waves” are. I love making that shawl.
The little quilt is really nice. I bet you have it done. Dry soon.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  2. I agree with Betsy.....the waves on the Multnomah shawl are really not so hard. They have a nice rhythm to them. Your granny shawl is very pretty and will be a lovely item to wear in the house while working no other projects. Cute quilt. Am always in awe of those that have the patience to do quilting. You made some nice progress on your cross stitching projects too. Do you have more than 24 hours in your day? You always get so much done each day!

  5. Boy that shawl looks comfy! Can't wait to see it done. Our local grocery has placed a small bookcase near the carts where families can leave/trade children's books. Local service organizations often replenish the supply. Today, on top of the bookcase, someone had donated their stash of quilt magazines!! I didn't take them all (I wanted to) but I did sort out the Fons and Porters, a few Quick Patchwork and some others. I thought of you and how much you would enjoy them, too.

  6. The variety of things you get done impresses me, Sam. Realizing I hadn't been in here most of last week I caught up with your other posts tonight. Your baking is inspiring, too. I'm reminded that I have some sour milk in the fridge I'm saving for baking something. It's time to use it up!

  9. You are so multicraftual! I love the quilt - I am into quilts these days. My Croatian teacher is also a quilter and every week when I am there she seems to have a new one on the go. But. I. Must. Resist. Starting. A. New. Craft.
