Well..I finally ordered a planner......

Thanks to Marsha who mentioned the 365 Day Happy Planner.....I googled it and Michael's had it on sale for $12.00!  It was meant to be!  Thank you, Marsha!
Then I went on Ebay and ordered the Home Planner supplement.............since I am nothing if not a HOME BODY anymore..............
Then I spent the morning checking out accessories on Ebay and Etsy but I will check out the Dollar Store and Walmart first before I buy any of those.  Plus I need to get the planner and see what it comes with and what I need........some of these for sure......
pockets
Stickers.............for sure...........

So many to choose from!  Plus, I need an elastic band with a pen holder to hold it closed and the practical stickers indicating certain tasks and important dates.  There are also charms to hang off the coil...oh, this is way too much fun!   This goes way beyond my love for office supply stores!   This is a new hobby!  Do you have a planner?  Do you decorate yours?  I can't wait until it arrives!  Meanwhile, I will try to restrain myself from browsing and especially buying anymore "planner" paraphernalia.
 Happy Trails!

  1. Looks like great fun! My Parents gave me a planner for Christmas. I have been keeping track of my miles on the bike to nowhere and steps. It helps keep me motivated! I would like to decorate my own next year!! :)

    1. I used planners for years mostly the Franklin Planner system and then later a Palm Pilot but no color and no fun! Good for you on the bicycle! I love to bike but the knees don't after my years of riding horses. I'll keep you up to date on this planner decorating so you will be ready next year! LOL!

  2. You found a fabulous price for that planner. I looked on Amazon....I like to buy there...and it's a LOT more! Love all the fun extras you can buy too. I keep a journal in my day planner. Have fun! Hugs!

    1. Yes, it was a good price but of course there wasn't a lot to choose from but I really like the one I got....I'm all about the flowers. I was not impressed with Michael's though as so much of it was "in store only" or "out of stock".....then why put it on the website is my thinking! LOL!

  3. I found a really neat organizer at the Dollar Store for my daughter at Christmas. Of course I didn't buy one for myself, and when I went back they were gone! Will have to check out Michaels the next time I am there! Lots of fun stickers you picked out!

    1. You will have a much bigger selection in the store I think. I've done that at the Dollar store too....think I'll pick it up next time and it's gone. The good stuff goes fast!

  4. That is a great price for the 18 month planner. Can't wait to see how you use it. I love mineand use it daily for; meal planning, knitting/crocheting diary, daily tasks, lifes happenings. I even take it with me when I travel so I can record my daily activities. I added lined pages to it so i could journal feelings and ideas too. First thing I did was get the larger rings so I could add more paper to it lol. Got thoseon Amazon real cheap. Glad you found so many nifty things to go with it.

    1. Thank you so much for telling me about it! I'm not sure what it looks like on the inside or what comes with it so I thought I would wait to see what else to purchase but I did get the Home Planner insert and I'm pretty sure I will want the elastic band with pen holder. I saw those rings and I'm sure it won't be long! LOL!

  5. I'm so glad you found a planner that you like. I just have a plain old day planner that you get at Staples. It has the refillable pages for new calendars every year. I use it to keep track of appointments and things like that. I like that it has extra pockets to keep notes and things that I have to have for doctors appointments etc. I'm looking forward to seeing yours when it's all finished.
    Blessings, Betsy

I could sure use a little organizing in my world. Trying to do a million things at once, as always. Well, I'll check back from time to time, it's so nice to meet you! Julie

  7. Sam, would you consider adding a gadget to your blog so that a person can choose to follow you by e-mail? That's how I prefer to get blog updates from my favorite blogs and I'm missing way too much not being subscribed to yours. Okay now... Planners as hobbies. This I can get my mind around. I love it. What an easy way justify all the wonderful things that go along with planner developing!
