  4. Love the quilted flag pillow. I have a quilted flag that's framed in an old window ... bought it in Amish Country, OH years ago.

I absolutely love Instagram. It's like micro-blogging. Just post a picture and a small message, or just use hashtags, and you're done. Doesn't take as much though as blogging does. And yet I've made so many connections around the world and find so much inspiration. Yes, you can follow people -- but it's all very easy. I started almost 3 years ago and am so glad I did. It also opened up a whole new side of Kuwait I didn't know about and I've made many new friends here because of it. So for me, it's all been good.

  5. I hope you had a safe and wonderful 4th--the nostalgia of the olden days makes me miss the days when it was ok and politically correct to be proud to be an American! Whether it's cool or not, I am a proud American! Love the vintage graphics Sam.

  6. Pretty and patriotic. I love all of the projects but the pillow is my favorite. I hope your holiday was a grand one. We had fun at the lake but the Internet wasn't working and so I didn't get to wish all of you a happy 4th. Oh well! We had fun anyway and I sure hope you did too.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. Veterans Day is not to be mistaken for Memorial Day. Veterans Day commends the administration of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of recalling the men and ladies who kicked the bucket while serving.
